Darkopolis is based in Athens Greece and was founded by three classmates in AKTO (an art college in Athens): Kostas Yiatilis, Aris Kandiliotis and Alex Kartsonakis.

At first it was just an exhibition of our creations, then as Kostas started working for track7games on their upcoming title theseis and aris started working for 10 doing architectural visualization our work got to a proffesional level.

After a while Aris and Alex joined Kostas at track7games. This was an opportunity to create graphics side by side like when we were at college. Darkopolis grew into our creative outlet beyond work and our window to the world.

We took things a step further using our expertise on hi-resolution next-gen game graphics and photoreal rendering to create amazing computer graphics for theseis and personal projects.
